Questions

How do I write page ranges?

Use commas between items and a hyphen for ranges. 1-3 keeps pages 1 to 3, 2,4,7 keeps only those pages, and 1-2,6 combines both.

Does splitting create one file per page?

No. The pages you choose are saved together in one new PDF. To get separate files, split once for each page or range you need.

Is the original PDF changed?

No. Your original file stays as it is. PDF Vault reads it in the browser and creates a new file with the selected pages.
